If you receive a message like this, do not click the link or provide information. if you have questions about your voter registration status or need to register to vote, please contact the Cooper County Clerk's Office or visit the official Missouri Secretary of State website. Absentee Voting for the April General Municipal Election--- begins February 24, 2026 and ends April 6, 2026 at 5 p.m.
Open Saturday, March 7, 2026 8-12 for absentee voting
Open Saturday, April 4, 2026 8-12 for absentee voting
Candidate Filing for the August 4, 2026 Primary Election begins at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 and closes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. For more details check the Candidates tab.

About the Clerk's Office

​The Clerk’s office for Cooper County plays multiple roles within local government. An elected position, the County Clerk's main roles includes inspecting and reviewing all voter precinct boundaries within the County, conducting elections, administering the budget, administrating county tax levies. In addition, the office is responsible for keeping accurate records of the orders, rules, and proceedings of the County Commission.
